From December 18-22, 2019, a delegation including our President, Professor Tadashi Hisamitsu; Director General of the International Exchange Center, Professor Takashi Miyazaki; Professor Miki Izumi of Medical Education; and Professor Miyuki Hashimoto of the International Exchange Center, visited Semmelweis University Faculty of Medicine in Budapest, Hungary. The purpose of the trip was to learn more about the Semmelweis University and to discuss exchange possibilities. Our delegation met the president of Semmelweis University, Professor Béla Merkely, and deans from each school and we are currently exploring the possibility of concluding a formal exchange agreement.
