Exchange Agreement with University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology

On October 9, Showa University School of Dentistry and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City (UMP) Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology concluded an exchange agreement at the UMP campus. This marks the 19th exchange agreement by our School of Dentistry and first one with a dental school in Vietnam.
The delegation from Showa University included Dr. Takashi Miyazaki (Director General, International Exchange Center), Dr. Hirotaka Kuwata (Head, School of Dentistry International Exchange Committee), Dr. Miyuki Hashimoto (Professor, International Exchange Center) and Dr. Michael Myers (Associate Professor, International Exchange Center). They were received by Dr. Ngo Thi Quynh Lan, Dean of Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology; Dr. To Mai Xuan-Hong, Director of the Office of International Relations; and several other faculty.
During the meeting, both delegations discussed about student and faculty exchange opportunities. Afterwards, our delegation also talked with Dr. Xuan-Hong about exchange possibilities with UMP medical school and met with representatives from UMP Faculty of Pharmacy, who gave them a tour of their facilities.
