Associate Professor Kris Siriratsivawong Awarded the 15th Kenichi Uemura Award at the 22nd Japan Society for Medical English Education (JASMEE) Academic Meeting

At the annual JASMEE Academic Meeting, the Kenichi Uemura award is awarded to the speaker who made the best presentation in terms of both academic content and presentation technology. An award ceremony is then held for the recipient at the next year’s academic meeting.
At the 22nd JASMEE Academic Meeting held at Nakano Sun Plaza for 2 days from August 3-4, Associate Professor Kris “Siri” Siriratsivawong (Medical Education Office) was awarded the 15th Kenichi Uemura award for his presentation “Setting up for success: A workshop for Japanese medical students in preparation for overseas clinical electives” at last year’s meeting. In addition, Associate Professor Michael Myers (International Exchange Center) was awarded the Kenichi Uemura Award’s honorable mention for his presentation “Study-abroad program for first-year students at Japanese comprehensive medical university” last year.
