Blue Impulse Flies to Thank Medical Workers

Topics

On May 29, Blue Impulse, Japan Air Self-Defense Force’s (JASDF) aerobatic squadron, flew over central Tokyo to show respect and appreciation for medical workers who are battling the novel coronavirus infection.

The flight route included Showa University Hospital, and as Blue Impulse passed almost directly above, people from the university and hospital could be seen looking up to the sky and taking photos or waving at the squadron. With this encouragement, we will continue to contribute to community medicine as well as provide safe and secure medical care. We would like to express our deep gratitude to everyone at the JASDF and Blue Impulse for carrying out this flight.
