International Online Joint Seminar

Showa University School of Pharmacy has exchange programs with 3 universities – Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (USA), Mahasarakham University (Thailand), and Taipei Medical University (Taiwan) – but due to the coronavirus, this year’s activities were canceled. Therefore, as a new activity to promote international exchange, on October 29 our School of Pharmacy hosted an “Online Joint Seminar”, which the International Exchange Center co-sponsored.
Students from all 4 universities gave presentations on topics such as pharmacy education at their university, current research, and the healthcare system in their country, followed by chance for questions and answers. Additionally, students and faculty were encouraged to attend this online seminar, and over 50 members participated.
