Showa University Becomes United Nations Academic Impact Member

In November, 2020, Showa University was accepted as a participating member in the United Nations Academic Impact program. As a member of this program, Showa University commits itself to supporting and advancing several principles related to the United Nations goals and mandates, in particular:
1) A commitment to the opportunity for every interested individual to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for the pursuit of higher education.
2) A commitment to building capacity in higher education systems across the world.
3) A commitment to promoting inter-cultural dialogue and understanding, and the “unlearning” of intolerance, through education.
