At the front entrance of Showa University Hospital Central Building on June 22, the "Gardening Club", including Showa University's Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Katsuji Oguchi, and the nursing department offered hydrangeas to patients. Earlier in the morning, faculty/staff of the International Exchange Center and gardening club cut hydrangeas blooming in the adjacent Hatanodai campus and prepared the bouquets. This practice ensures that these hydrangeas will bloom again next year. A bright smile could be seen on the patients who received these hydrangeas.
