2024 Certificate Award Ceremony and Farewell Party

On March 5, 2024, Showa University held our annual Certificate Award Ceremony for 5 international fellows completing their training for the 2023-2024 program.
This year’s ceremony was held at the main auditorium of Showa University Kamijo Memorial Hall. First, the Director General of the International Exchange Center, Dr. Takashi Miyazaki, provided an opening address to the audience. Then, each fellow received his/her certificate from our President, Dr. Tadashi Hisamitsu, who also offered words of congratulations to the fellows. Finally, a representative of the fellows, Dr. Amartuvshin Ganbold, offered words on their behalf.
After the certificate ceremony, a farewell party was held for attending guests in the basement floor of Kamijo Memorial Hall. This was the first time a post-ceremony reception was held since the coronavirus pandemic. A reception toast was provided by the Dean of the Graduate School of Medicine, Dr. Masahiko Izumizaki, followed by introduction of award recipients and remarks from their advisors, as well as introduction of other international fellows and students studying at Showa University. A closing address was provided by the Dean of the Graduate School of Dentistry, Dr. Masamichi Takami.
