What to prepare when visiting the hospital
Health insurance card or health insurance beneficiary card, applicable medical care subsidy certificate(s) (elderly medical service recipient card, physical disability certificate, etc.), and referral (patient referral document) issued by another medical institution (hospitals, clinics, etc.).

After entering the building through the front entrance, go to the General Reception. If you are a revisiting patient, use one of the Return Visit Check-in machines.1

Go to the reception on the second floor to be seen at the ophthalmology clinic. For other clinics, go to the reception on the first floor.

You will receive your treatment plan from the physician.4
Consultation and examination
At the end of consultation and examination, your physician will give you the prescription to obtain medication at an external pharmacy (if you need medication) and a Revisit Appointment Ticket.

Use the automatic payment processing machine provided at the General Reception on the first floor to pay your bill. A receipt will be issued at the end.

Obtaining medication
As a general rule, your medication must be obtained from an external pharmacy according to the doctor’s prescription. Submit the doctor’s prescription, within four days from its issue date, to a dispensing pharmacy approved by the national health insurance system to obtain the medication.7
